Even though Ohio has adopted Constitutional Carry, Ohio Sheriff’s departments are still going to issue Concealed Carry Permits and we will still be providing the training to get them. There are many reasons for this. First, with Ohio’s permit you can legally carry into Pennsylvania and in fact clear south to Florida as over 39 other states accept Ohio’s permit thanks to Concealed Carry Reciprocity Agreements. Also, it can help in cases of civil liability. Last, there are still laws that do apply and do’s and don’ts. Knowledge is a powerful thing.
Class:
6 hours of classroom and 2 hours on the range to obtain your Ohio CCW permit done all in one day, indoors. You will need 50 rounds of ammo and a gun suitable for concealed carry. We do sell guns and have rentals available if you don't own your own. We have the rest covered.

This is a 4 Hour course. Class covers the fundamentals of handguns, marksmanship, sights, stance and trigger pull. It is ideal for basic to somewhat skilled users. Course includes approx. 2-1/2 hours in classroom and 1-1/2 hours on our indoor range. Cost is $70.00. This is our most often requested class...
Requirements:
Minimum age: 21 or within 90 days of 21st birthday
Your holster if you use one (shoulder holsters not preferred).
Eye and ear protection if you have it or we have it here.
50 rounds of ammunition (both available for purchase if needed at the range.
A handgun suitable for personal protection. We do have rental handguns available but best to use the gun you plan on using.
Do not bring ammo into the classroom! Keep it in car or you can check it at the counter until the class goes into the range.

It's back! Women's Handgun 101 is back and with our instructor Genevieve Douglas. This is our ladies only class for those having no experience to having some or intermittent experience shooters.
This is a 4 hour ladies only course. The focus of this course is on the fundamentals of shooting a handgun and how to diagnose and correct shooting and accuracy issues. Topics covered more in-depth are: proper techniques for handgun manipulation, loading, reloading, and quickly dealing with malfunctions; fundamentals of grip, stance, trigger squeeze, sight alignment, and accuracy.

-Minimum age is 21
-100-rounds of ammo (we have ammo on sale here).

-Suitable handgun for self-defense (preferably .380 or larger caliber; revolvers are allowed)
-Outside the Waist Band (OWB) Holster with sturdy belt and pants with belt loops.
This is NOT a CCW course and you do not have to have a CCW license to attend nor will it get you one.

Fundamentals of shooting with pistol optics (RED DOTS), 4 hours, $80.00

This 4-hour class will introduce the handgun owner to the fundamentals of owning, maintaining, operating and shooting with a red dot system (RDS, or optic) on their pistol. Optics are truly a “game changer” for the casual shooter, law enforcement officer, and competitor alike, allowing you a rapid and definitive sight acquisition; however, there are many considerations for purchasing and operating the equipment. We will teach you the fundamentals to begin mastering the ecosystem of red dot shooting!
The student will learn about the red dot varieties and options, caring for the optic, proper shooting stance and grip, zeroing the dot, finding the dot during presentation and maintaining it under recoil, and numerous practice drills on the range.
This is a high-demand class and will be limited to (10) students on a first-come, first-serve basis. Pre-registration and a deposit are required to attend this class... no walk-ins will be accepted. Future classes are being scheduled soon.

Though handgun fundamentals will certainly be covered, the student should understand shooting basics prior to taking this course. No previous knowledge of pistols optics is needed.
Equipment needed:
· 150 rounds of ammunition (ammunition will be available for purchase at the range but quantities could be limited);
· Eye & ear protection (also available at the range);
Optional equipment (if owned):
· Handgun capable of mounting a pistol optic;
· Optic capable of being mounted on the pistol you brought. It does not have to be mounted prior to class as we will demonstrate proper technique for doing so;
Targets and pre-sighting lasers (.380, 9mm and .45 ACP) will be provided.
Once registered and pre-paid, you will receive contact information for the instructor to ensure you have the proper red dot equipment prior to attending the course.

Personal one-on-one firearms training by one of our certified instructors in 60 minute increment. We also have small group rates. Includes Instruction, range time and target. Does not include firearm or ammo.

NOTE: We take our last shooter at 50 minutes prior to closing for 30 minutes of time. So when we close at 7 pm, last shooter is at 6:10pm. This allows us to get you on and off the range in time to clean the range and close.
